Our founder understands this firsthand.
In her twenties, she lived in survival mode—fleeing domestic violence, moving from couch to couch, and constantly staying one step ahead just to remain safe. Stability was fleeting. Rest was impossible.
Then one friend changed everything.
She offered a place to stay—unknown to the abuser, quiet, and safe. In that space, something remarkable happened. After finally sleeping deeply for the first time in months, clarity returned. The ability to think, plan, and move forward was restored.
That single act of refuge became a turning point.
Hestia’s House was built from that moment.
