About Hestia’s House
Hestia’s House was born from a simple, powerful idea: every woman deserves a place to pause.
A place to exhale.
A place to feel safe.
A place where the noise of survival quiets long enough to hear your own thoughts again.
We exist to provide a sheltered, nurturing environment where women can decompress, reflect, and begin to plan what comes next. It is a space for recovery not just from addiction or crisis but from exhaustion, fear, and the constant strain of uncertainty. Here, mind, body, and spirit are given permission to rest, reset, and heal.
This mission is deeply personal.
In my twenties, I was a victim of domestic violence. I lived in survival mode moving from couch to couch, constantly in motion, driving just to avoid being found. Stability felt out of reach, and safety felt temporary.
Then, a friend—someone my abuser did not know—offered me a place to stay.
That moment changed everything.
For the first time in a long while, I felt safe enough to truly rest. I slept deeply for many hours. And when I woke up, something had shifted. With a clear mind, I could finally think, plan, and begin to map out my next steps forward.
That brief period of refuge became a turning point in my life.
Decades later, I realized something: if I didn’t create a space like that for other women—if I didn’t act on that calling now—I never would.
Hestia’s House is the fulfillment of that promise.
It is more than a home. It is a place of restoration, dignity, and new beginnings. A place where women can gather themselves, reclaim their strength, and step forward into a future they choose.
Hestia’s House is a structured, supportive residential environment for women seeking stability as they transition forward in their recovery journey.
Our program is rooted in a simple but essential principle: women need a safe, calm space to stabilize before they can successfully plan and sustain long-term change.
We provide:
-
A secure, substance-free living environment
-
A peaceful setting designed for decompression and reflection
-
Supportive structure that encourages accountability and personal growth
-
Space for women to regain clarity and develop next-step plans
Hestia’s House was founded from lived experience. Our founder understands the impact that even a short period of true safety can have on a woman in crisis. That insight informs our approach—we prioritize emotional safety, rest, and stability as the foundation for forward movement.
We work collaboratively with treatment centers, referral partners, and community organizations to ensure women have a continuum of care that supports not only sobriety, but long-term success and independence.
Ideal Referrals Include:
-
Women transitioning from treatment
-
Women in early recovery needing stable housing
-
Women seeking a supportive, structured environment
-
Women who would benefit from a calm space to plan next steps
Hestia’s House is more than transitional housing—it is a place where women can reset, refocus, and move forward with clarity.
